Carrie Swartz, MD, FACOG
Gynecology & Gynecologic Surgery
Dr. Carrie Swartz is a Board-Certified doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Swartz grew up in Kansas and went to the University of Colorado in Boulder where she earned her degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry. She returned to Kansas to attend medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita and earned her M.D.
From there, she moved to Albuquerque and fell in love with New Mexico during her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Before opening her gynecology practice in Albuquerque, she was in private practice in OB-Gyn in Boulder, Colorado.
She now limits her practice to gynecology and gynecologic surgery to better focus on her patients' needs.
She also speaks Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys photography, skiing, and hiking with her husband and her two boys.
Katherine Brawley, PA-C

She enjoys her time away with her husband and four children.

She is on faculty with the UNM College of Nursing working with their NP students. Lisa has a particular interest in non-surgical management of prolapse (pessary care) and adolescent gynecology. We are grateful to her husband, two kids, and pug who share her with us!
Jocelyn Otero, CNP
We are pleased to have Jocelyn Otero on our team. She is a native New Mexican from Valencia County. She began her career as a nursing assistant at Valencia Family Healthcare. She completed her BSN at Brookline College and went on to work in the ER at both Presbyterian and Lovelace Hospitals. She then completed her Master's degree to become a Nurse Practitioner at South University.
It is important to Jocelyn that her patients feel safe and comfortable during their visits. She ensures they are provided with support and education when it comes to contraception, recommended screenings, and overall women’s health.
When she is not busy in the office, she enjoys time with her new husband and her dogs and horses.
