CARRIE SWARTZ, MD, FACOG
Dr. Carrie Swartz is a Board-Certified doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Swartz grew up in Kansas and went to the University of Colorado in Boulder where she earned her degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry. She returned to Kansas to attend medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita and earned her M.D. From there, she moved to Albuquerque and fell in love with New Mexico during her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center. Before opening her gynecology practice in Albuquerque, she was in private practice in OB-Gyn in Boulder, Colorado.
She now limits her practice to gynecology and gynecologic surgery to better focus on her patients' needs.
She also speaks Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys photography, skiing, and hiking with her husband and her two boys.

ELIZABETH CARLSON, CNM, FNP
Elizabeth (who usually goes by Lisa!) Carlson is a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner who has devoted her career to the care of women. Lisa grew up in Minnesota and completed her Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwifery training here at UNM. Before joining Bosque Women's Care, Lisa cared for the women of Las Vegas, NM at Alumbra Women's Health and El Centro Family Health. She is on faculty with the UNM College of Nursing working with their NP students. Lisa has a particular interest in non-surgical management of prolapse (pessary care) and adolescent gynecology. We are grateful to her husband, two kids, and pug who share her with us!

MICHELLE WILLIAMS, CNM, WHNP
Michelle Williams is a women's health nurse practitioner and a certified nurse midwife. She is originally from the east-coast and attended graduate school at Georgetown University while living in the Washington, D.C. area. As a nurse, Michelle worked in labor and delivery and as a lactation consultant. She cares passionately about reproductive healthcare and is specifically interested in LGBTQ+ health. Professionally, she is involved in Lamaze International, the American College of Nurse Midwives, and the New Mexico Breastfeeding Task Force. In her personal time, she enjoys having fun with her husband, two bonus-kids, and her dog.

MAIA POLINGER, PA-C
Maia is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Santa Fe. She has earned all 3 of her degrees from the University of New Mexico with a Master’s of Science in Community Health Education as well as Physician Assistant Studies. Maia has a background in health policy-writing in the Pueblo of Jemez, Gynecology/Oncology as well as General Surgery. She feels passionate about all Women in New Mexico having access to quality health care in a comfortable environment. She is particularly interested in primary prevention of things like cervical cancer by instilling the importance of routine gynecological care.
In her free time, she loves hanging with her Husband, Etan, 14-month-old son, Jordan, and doggy, Benji!
